The larger holes in cube beads allow them to fit on finer leather, hemp and waxed cotton cords.

Bead finishes:
Opaque colors are solid colors and do not allow light to pass through.
Transparent beads are see-thru, allowing light from behind to illuminate the colors.
Metallic beads have an elegant polished soft metal appearance.
Rainbow (also known as iris or ab) finished beads have a lovely iridescent multicolored effect.
Silver lined beads are also sometimes referred to as rocailles they are transparent glass with a silver lining for sparkle.
Matte beads have a soft, frosted appearance.
